Nitro von Nieblum is a gorgeous 9-10 month old German Shepherd. Nitro sports a beautiful, richly-colored sable coat and delightfully floppy, expressive ears.  He’s still young and curious and excited to get out and explore the world, but he takes corrections well and behaves himself on walks and around other dogs,  Nitro seems to have a more easy-going personality.  He is very affectionate (belly rubs, anyone?) and willing to learn his basic commands.  He would like to have an owner who will take the time to help him be all he can be.  From what we can tell, he likes playing in the water, so maybe there’s a dog beach or just some sprinklers in his future?  He does great around other dogs, so much so that he is currently sharing space with several other dogs at the rescue.  He'd be a good choice for a multi-dog family. And a bonus, Nitro so far seems to be a yes for cats! Come visit him and see for yourself!
